Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick - Chihuahua & Nude

I thought it would be fitting for my first post to be about my latest purchase. I've always liked the idea of the Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks, but found all of the colours (except for Melted Nude) to be too bright for my liking. When the new Melted Lipsticks were released in Mecca Maxima last Monday I was very happy with the Melted Chihuahua and so I purchased it, along with Melted Nude. Melted Chihuahua is more brown in tone as opposed to Melted Nude, which is more orange. I really did not need to buy more nude lipsticks...

l-r: Melted Nude, Melted Chihuahua

You can see that Nude is more orange in tone when compared to Chihuahua, which appears to be more brown.

The melted lipsticks can be drying after awhile, but that can be fixed by just applying a thin layer of lip balm on top. In terms of lasting power, I found that it varied. If I had applied a thin layer of the lipstick, I had to re-apply after around three hours. I did have to touch up after eating and drinking as well, though, the colour did stay on pretty well!

It probably wasn't necessary to buy both Nude and Chihuahua, but I'm a crazy nude fanatic so...I needed them both. If you tend to like darker nudes, I'd go with Chihuahua. If you like a more peachy/orange nude, Nude is for you.
